Abseil Challenge Fundraiser

10th October 2018

Local architecture practice Clear Architects have just completed an abseiling challenge for which they kindly chose to fundraise for Epping Forest Foodbank. They abseiled down an iconic London attraction, the ArcelorMittal Orbit in Stratford. As the UK’s largest sculpture, and at 376ft high, abseiling down the Orbit is no small achievement!

On Saturday the team headed to the top of the orbit, braved the dizzying heights and the rain and abseiled down the building.

Congratulations and a huge thank you to the Clear Architects team for undertaking this challenge to raise funds for us, we really appreciate your support. The total amount raised so far is an amazing £663.75! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far, your donations really make a difference in helping us continue to support the local community, providing emergency food parcels for those who need it.

The donation page is still open for donations until the 6th January 2019. Please support us and donate here. Whatever amount you can give is much appreciated!

You can see more photos and videos of the abseiling action on Twitter here.
