Epping Forest Foodbank Meets the World Cup – Summer Appeal 2026!

27th March 2026

This summer, we’re kicking things up a notch…
Forget a friendly – this is the Foodbank World Cup, and we need YOU on the pitch!

The Game Plan…
Supporters who sign up will be drawn into a World Cup-style tournament.
Each team (that’s you!) will be assigned a country.

Your mission?
Collect food donations in the colours of your assigned country’s flag. Be creative!
Think of it as building your squad, every tin, packet, and item adds to your score!

The League Table…
Every week, we’ll post live league tables on social media showing:
⚽ Who’s top of the table
⚽ Who’s climbing the ranks
All based on total KG of donations collected. You can donate more than once in the donation window!

For Schools & Churches or Youth Groups…
Got a team of little superstars?
Turn this into your own mini tournament:
🏆 Compete between classes or groups
🥇 Award your own “Player of the Match”
📦 Compete against other schools or groups within your trust/academy
Future Ballon d’Or winners in the making… 👏

Everyone’s a Winner!
Every participant will receive an official Epping Forest Foodbank Certificate of Participation. To us, taking part means you’ve already scored a goal for your community 💛

Ready for Kick-Off?
Once you sign up, we’ll send you a tailored information pack depending on whether you are:
● A business
● An organisation
● A school/education setting
● A religious group
Everything you need to play the game properly! This will include how to book in a donation drop off, advertisement, newsletter information and more…

Sign Ups – Closing Soon…
There are only 48 spots available — and once they’re gone, they’re gone!
After sign-up closes:
🎲 Teams will be randomly assigned a country
📣 Announced on social media
📧 Sent directly to you by email
Deadlines to sign up by Friday 10th April 2026

Final Whistle…
Do you have what it takes to top the table?
