Alongside getting support from EFFB there are a range of other community project and charities that can assist you during this time.

Surplus Food and Community Pantries

Saved! food is available during Cafe Hope opening hours, which currently is Monday – Friday, 9:15am – 11:45am.
You are welcome to go in during that time to see what is available.  They usually have bread and sometimes fresh fruit and vegetables.

 

Porch Pantry

St Martin’s Church, Chipping Ongar, CM5 9AT

The Porch Panty is open 24/7 and is stocked with cereal, UHT milk, cereal bars, tins of savoury food and dried potato to bless you in your time of need.

 

 

Online Community Groups

The Loughton Give Away and Swap Shop

This is a Facebook community group where people can give away what they don’t need and perhaps swap it for something they would like. Often people post items with no swap needed you might find useful.
