Epping Forest Foodbank has been in the process of working towards becoming an independent charity over the last few months. 6 new Trustees have been appointed and our application to the Charity Commission was submitted on Monday 25th February 2019. Change of Venue and Times to Saturday Foodbank Distribution Centre from 23rd June 2018
Epping Forest Foodbank’s first Foodbank centre session opened on Saturday 22nd June 2013 at the Restore Community Centre and continued to operate from the venue for 5 years, weekly on a Saturday afternoon. Between 1st April 2017 and 31st March 2018, 1,197 three day emergency food supplies were provided to local people in crisis by Epping Foodbank Foodbank, compared to 640 in the previous year.
